Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimation Engineer & Quantity Surveyor to join our architectural team. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, material take-offs, and quantity surveying, along with a solid background in architectural design and proficiency in AutoCAD. You will work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure accurate project costing and effective design integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for architectural and interior projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural drawings, specifications, and designs.
• Analyze architectural plans to determine quantities and cost of materials, labor, and time.
• Collaborate with design and project teams to support project planning and budgeting.
• Evaluate contractor quotations and assist in tender analysis.
• Monitor project costs during execution and update cost reports accordingly.
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization exercises.
• Support in drafting and revising design drawings using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing and technical data.
• Prepare progress reports and payment certifications for ongoing projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimation Engineer, preferably in an architectural or interior design firm.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design or quantity surveying software (MS Excel, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of local construction materials, standards, and pricing.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
