Estimation Engineer

Job Title: Estimation Engineer

Job Summary:

The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for construction or fit-out projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine costs, ensuring competitive and profitable bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze project drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Perform quantity take-offs from drawings.
  • Prepare and submit tender documents and proposals within deadlines.
  • Identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for accurate pricing.
  • Prepare value engineering proposals to optimize costs.
  • Maintain a database of costs, suppliers, and historical data.
  • Support post-award activities such as budget preparation and cost control.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in estimation (preferably in fit-out or construction).
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and pricing.
  • Proficiency in:
  • MS Excel (advanced level)
  • AutoCAD (for quantity take-off)
  • Estimation software (preferred)
  • Familiarity with UAE market rates and suppliers is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in interior fit-out, commercial, retail, or hospitality projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
