Estimation Engineer- Electrical Switchgear

Job Description

• Review project SLD, specification and technical documents.
• Provide compliance with deviations to the project specifications.
• Review, update and maintain product details and price list of suppliers.
• Coordinate with design for the technical drawings & documents for offer preparation.
• Develop comprehensive estimates with material, labour and other costs.
• Visit project sites as required for the estimate to match as per site condition.
• Ensure estimate with technical proposal meets IEC standards and local regulations.
• Prepare detailed techno commercial offer and obtain approval from Management.
• Attend customer meetings with sales & design for techno commercial clarifications.
• Support sales in the revised offer submissions and securing orders.
• Transfer project details with scope & constraints to design / project team for execution.
• Track project cost against estimate and generate reports for Management.
• Identify cost savings and alternatives to enhance profitability.
• Support procurement for product selection and vendor meetings.
• Maintain proper documents and records of all estimation related activities.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge in LV system estimate, product selection and IEC standards.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, estimation software & ERP.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for collaborating with consultants & clients.
• Attention to detail, ability to solve problems, technical and analytical skills.

Competency

•      Degree in Engineering with 3 years / Diploma with 5 years Experience.
