Estimation Engineer – EPC Maintenance Services (Oil and Gas)

As an Estimation Engineer , you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for maintenance and service-related EPC projects. The role is critical in supporting tendering activities, ensuring cost efficiency, and contributing to successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for oil & gas maintenance and service contracts
• Analyze RFQs, technical specifications, and scope of work
• Develop BOQs, cost breakdowns, and manpower estimates
• Coordinate with operations, procurement, and engineering teams
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations
• Identify cost risks and recommend mitigation strategies
• Support tender submissions and commercial proposals
• Participate in site visits for scope validation
• Maintain and update cost databases and historical data
• Ensure compliance with client and company standards

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in EPC estimation, preferably in maintenance/services projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• Strong understanding of oil & gas maintenance operations (shutdowns, turnaround, brownfield works)
• Experience in tendering and contract pricing
• Proficiency in Excel and estimation tools
• Knowledge of Qatar/Middle East market is an advantage
• Strong analytical and commercial awareness skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
