Estimation Engineer - Fire systems

Key Responsibilities

* Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and client requirements.

* Prepare detailed cost estimates for:

* Fire Alarm Systems

* Fire Fighting Systems

* Sprinkler Systems

* FM200 / Clean Agent Suppression Systems

* Fire Pumps and Related Equipment

* Emergency & Voice Evacuation Systems

* Perform material take-offs from drawings and BOQs.

* Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

* Prepare technical and commercial proposals.

* Analyze project risks, scope gaps, and deviations.

* Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, and project teams.

* Ensure compliance with NFPA, local civil defense, and project standards.

* Maintain estimation databases and cost records.

* Attend pre-bid meetings and clarify technical requirements when required.

* Support project handover after award.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

* 3–5 years of experience in fire protection system estimation.

* Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire authority regulations.

* Experience in tendering and cost estimation for fire systems projects.

Skills Required

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

* Strong analytical and cost estimation skills.

* Knowledge of fire alarm and firefighting system components.

* Good communication and negotiation skills.

* Experience with ERP/estimation software is an advantage.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
