Estimation Engineer – Interior Fit-Out (1–2 Years Experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with 1–2 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and supporting tender submissions for commercial, residential, and retail fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for fit-out projects
• Study drawings, specifications, and scope of work to understand project requirements
• Analyze material, labor, and subcontractor costs based on UAE market rates
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for accurate pricing
• Obtain, evaluate, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and MEP drawings
• Assist in value engineering and cost optimization
• Track variations, revisions, and cost changes during project lifecycle
• Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings when required
• Maintain updated cost database and historical records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Construction Management
• 1–2 years UAE experience in interior fit-out estimation
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, joinery, and MEP coordination
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
• Familiarity with UAE suppliers and subcontractor market
• Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in commercial, retail, or residential fit-out projects
• Knowledge of joinery and custom furniture estimation
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and multiple projects
