Estimation Engineer Joinery

Job Title: Estimation Engineer – Project Joinery

Job Summary:

Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs

Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and accurate cost estimates

Develop unit rates through material, labor, and equipment analysis

Obtain, compare, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations

Identify project risks, provisional sums, and cost uncertainties

Prepare competitive tender pricing and commercial submissions

Support tender clarifications, value engineering, and negotiations

Coordinate with procurement, planning, and project teams

Maintain cost databases and historical pricing records

Assist in budget preparation and cost control during project execution

Requirements & Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in joinery estimation or interior fit-out projects

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, Planswift)

Good knowledge of materials, market prices, and construction processes related to joinery

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Excellent time management and multitasking ability

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Able to handle pressure and work to deadlines

Willing to visit sites when required
