Estimation MEP Engineer

We're Hiring! Estimation MEP Engineer – Bartawi General Contracting

Location: AlQouz industrial area 2- Dubai

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and detailed BOQs for MEP works
• Develop cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow projections
• Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs
• Review and evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotations and negotiate contracts
• Monitor project costs against budgets and highlight variances
• Assist in preparation of tender submissions and technical proposals
• Handle post-contract activities including progress payments, claims, and variations

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the UAE construction/building industry (preferably G+15 and above projects)
• Strong background in MEP quantity surveying, estimation, and cost control
• Proven ability to prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and budgets
• Experience in pre-contract and post-contract works, including variation orders and claims
• Knowledge of market prices, material sourcing, and subcontractor/vendor comparisons
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software
• Familiar with authority requirements (DEWA, DCD, Empower, DM, etc.)
