The Estimation & Tendering Engineer is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for construction projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure competitive and compliant bids.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Estimation
- Study tender drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and rate analysis.
- Calculate material, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Prepare budget estimates for internal approval.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks.
Tendering
- Prepare and submit tenders within deadlines.
- Handle pre-bid meetings, queries, and clarifications.
- Coordinate with procurement for vendor quotations.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Prepare comparative statements and final bid documents.
Contracts & Coordination
- Assist in contract finalization and negotiations.
- Support project team during handover after order receipt.
- Maintain tender records, cost databases, and rate libraries.
- Ensure compliance with client, statutory, and company policies.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of estimation, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis
- Understanding of civil, structural, and finishing works
- Familiarity with tendering procedures and contract terms
- Good analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
Educational Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
Preferred Experience
- Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of EPC / item-rate / lump-sum contracts
- Exposure to government and private tenders

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
