Estimator

We are seeking a focused and driven individual with excellent time-management skills and the ability to work with confidence, accuracy, and precision. Our Estimator & Inside Sales Specialist will review plan sets for upcoming and ongoing jobs, utilize software programs to generate cost and quantity estimates for multiple scopes of work, and provide support to our sales team as needed.

While much of this role will be spent at a computer or desk, there will also be frequent visits to job sites and field locations to perform assessments and gather information.

The ideal candidate is organized, hungry to excel, able to work under strict deadlines, and passionate about generating opportunities for our industry-leading contracting company through strong sales efforts and networking.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Contacting material suppliers to obtain pricing and availability
• Communicating with trade partners and developing strong working relationships
• Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
• Understanding project phasing and processes for larger civil jobs
• Assisting the Project Manager and being hands-on in the field when needed
• Teeing up projects for success and handing them to our production team.

Experience in construction, plan reading, estimating, sales, and customer service is highly preferred. We will train, guide, and mentor the right candidate if relevant experience is limited.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
