Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine the scope of work.

Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete, industrial, and construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.

Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis with a high level of accuracy.

Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor bids to ensure competitive pricing.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to validate scope and pricing.

Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.

Maintain and update cost databases, historical data, and estimating tools.

Prepare and submit bid proposals in accordance with company and client requirements.

Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client walkthroughs as needed.

Support project handoff to the operations team after contract award.

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.

37+ years of estimating experience in construction, industrial, or concrete projects.

Experience with site work, structural concrete, or industrial infrastructure preferred.

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

Proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, Plan Swift, Procore, or similar tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
