Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Utilize software tools such BuilderTrend.
• Negotiate contracts.
• Conduct regular reviews of project estimates against actual costs to identify variances and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines in collaboration with the project management team.
• Maintain organized records of all estimating documentation for future reference.

Skills

• Proficient in construction estimating software, particularly BuilderTrend.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in pricing.
• Familiarity with cost control measures and techniques within construction projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
