Job Title: Estimator (Joinery & Carpentry)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for bespoke joinery works including wooden doors, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, and vanities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of joinery materials, drawings, and fabrication processes, and the ability to work closely with design, procurement, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for joinery packages (doors, kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, and related items)

Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope and requirements

Take accurate material take-offs and calculate labor, material, and overhead costs

Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations

Prepare and submit tenders, variations, and cost comparisons

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and factory teams for clarification and updates

Maintain cost databases, pricing records, and historical project data

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or related field

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Joinery Estimator or similar role

Strong knowledge of joinery materials, hardware, finishes, and manufacturing processes

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications

Proficient in MS Excel (AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage)
