Hire Talent is representing a well-established and respected industrial services firm in its search for a skilled Estimator to support ongoing growth in the Gulf Coast region. The company is known for its high standards in safety, quality, and project execution across commercial and industrial environments.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator with a strong background in scaffold, coatings, insulation, and fireproofing scopes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting complex project documents and delivering accurate, competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and RFQs to prepare detailed cost estimates for scaffolding, coatings, insulation, and fireproofing services.
• Conduct site visits and collaborate with project teams to assess scope, access, and logistical needs.
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to create comprehensive bid packages.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing and availability.
• Prepare and submit client-facing proposals aligned with project requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate historical cost data and estimating tools.
• Work closely with sales, operations, and project management teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing.
• Participate in pre-bid walkthroughs and support smooth handoff to operations after award.

Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of estimating experience in scaffolding, coatings, insulation, or fireproofing services.
• Solid understanding of industrial and commercial construction environments.
• Skilled in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
• Proficient with estimating software and Excel.
• Highly organized with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and compliance requirements.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Estimating experience in sectors such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or commercial construction.
• Working knowledge of scaffold systems, insulation materials, industrial coatings, and fireproofing applications.
• Degree or certification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
