Estimator – Interior Design & Fit-Out (KSA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator with a strong background in interior design (ID) and fit-out projects, across the commercial and residential sectors. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in KSA, with solid knowledge of local pricing, suppliers, and market practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for interior design and fit-out projects during all phases – concept, schematic, and detailed design.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and documents to prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and material take-offs.
• Work closely with design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure cost estimates align with project goals and budgets.
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from local and international suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted services relevant to the Saudi market.
• Participate in tendering processes, bid evaluations, and value engineering when needed.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or design intent.
• Prepare and submit final project budgets, variations, and cost reports as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in KSA working with interior design or fit-out companies.
• Proven experience with commercial or residential interior projects.
• Strong understanding of fit-out construction methods, finishes, materials, and local supplier pricing.
• Proficiency in estimation software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or Excel-based tools.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building codes, regulations, and pricing structures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in luxury or high-end fit-out projects is a plus.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and contract documentation.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
