Estimator – Interior Fit-Out & Joinery

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator with proven experience in Interior Fit-Out, Joinery, and Refurbishment Projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial understanding of interior construction works and be capable of preparing accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and project budgets for high-end commercial, residential, hospitality, and retail fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender pricing for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Analyze project scope, identify risks, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project execution teams during the tendering stage.
• Prepare technical and commercial bid submissions within specified deadlines.
• Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Monitor market trends, material pricing, and labor costs to maintain competitive estimates.
• Support project handover by providing detailed cost breakdowns and budget information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in Interior Fit-Out and Joinery Estimation.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishes, custom joinery, furniture, ceiling systems, flooring, partitions, glass works, and MEP coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, Planswift, Bluebeam, CostX, or other estimation software.
• Ability to interpret architectural and shop drawings with high accuracy.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and commercial evaluation skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
