Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator – Metal Works to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for metal fabrication, structural steel, and fit-out projects, ensuring competitiveness while maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for metal works, structural steel, stainless steel, and architectural metal projects.
• Perform quantity take-offs and material analysis.
• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Prepare and submit tender proposals within deadlines.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and procurement teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Maintain a database of costs, suppliers, and past project estimates.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in metal works or steel fabrication estimation (UAE/GCC preferred).
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes, materials, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD knowledge preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Good communication and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fit-out, façade, or architectural metal works.
• Familiarity with UAE market rates and suppliers.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
