JOB DESCRIPTION: The Estimator / Project Manager is responsible for calculating accurate budgets, detailed proposals, change orders and managing the project to completion.
Essential Functions as follows:
Estimating/Sales– fundamental understanding of multiple types of roof systems including but not limited to concrete tile, shingles, decking, EPDM, built-up roofing, TPO, PVC, metal roofing, siding, roof pavers, coatings, and roof related sheet metal, below grade waterproofing and self-adhered membranes.
Project Management - shall manage each Sold Project from “cradle to grave”.
Job Set-up: This is where the estimator ensures all project documents are ready before sending to accounting.
Managing Projects Sold:
Customer Experience: Oversee Customer’s overall experience with the company is a positive one.
Travel: Travel within the Las Vegas valley and the outskirts of the valley will be necessary to do job walks and meet with customers: Out-of-state travel may occur occasionally, in this case, advance notice will be provided.

Competencies
Work Environment - While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in an office environment with moderate temperature and noise levels. However, when inspecting roofs, you will be exposed to the elements and traffic conditions due to driving.
Safety - Every Employee is responsible to follow proper safety standards by being aware of their surroundings, their actions, and the actions of others.; it is your responsibility to lead by example. Employees will be provided with the standard safety training necessary to complete the performance of duties.
Physical Demands - The position requires driving either personal vehicle (car allowance) or company vehicle to appointments. Carrying and setting ladders for roof access is required (lifting at least 75lbs), opening & closing roof hatches are all part of this position and require a certain amount of skill & fitness.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time salaried position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., however it may require additional time depending on workload.
