Estimator / Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Civil Estimation Engineer with a minimum of 10 years UAE experience in cost estimation, tender preparation, and quantity take-offs for commercial, residential, civil, and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE market rates, materials, technical specifications, and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions for civil, commercial, residential, and fit-out projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to understand scope and requirements.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for civil and interior works using industry-standard software/tools.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to collect necessary inputs for estimation.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, negotiate pricing, and build competitive cost structures.
• Evaluate material prices, labor costs, equipment requirements, and subcontractor rates in accordance with UAE market standards.
• Prepare comparison sheets and finalize cost summaries for management review.
• Assist in preparing tender clarifications, technical submittals, and compliance documents.
• Support the tendering team during technical and commercial meetings as required.
• Maintain a database of updated market prices, suppliers, subcontractors, and estimation norms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of UAE experience in estimation, tendering, or quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of UAE civil construction standards, local regulations, and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software (CostX, Planswift, or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of fit-out estimation.
• Experience with value engineering and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with supplier networks in the UAE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
