The Role

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator with a minimum of 3 years of UAE-based experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of projects from the initial inquiry stage through to final accounts. You will play a critical role in ensuring our tenders are competitive and our projects remain profitable.

Key Responsibilities

• Tendering & Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for new tenders, including material take-offs and labor calculations.
• BOQ Preparation: Produce detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on architectural and structural drawings.
• Subcontractor Management: Soliciting quotes, performing technical and commercial comparisons, and issuing Work Orders.
• Variations & Claims: Identify, price, and negotiate variations (VOs) and prepare monthly progress payment applications.
• Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures against budgets and provide regular cost-to-complete reports.
• Final Accounts: Manage the settlement of final accounts with both clients and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a QS or Estimator within the UAE construction industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift (or similar take-off software), and advanced MS Excel.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts and NRM2 or POMI measurement standards.
• Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal). Ability to negotiate firmly but professionally.
• Location: Currently based in the UAE (preferred).

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
