Your Responsibilities as an Estimator/ Sales
-
On site visits and phone conversations with customers- You’ll be making in Person visits to residential and commercial locations. Gather details about what the customer needs done. Discuss a budget range with the customer. Our typical project ranges from two hours to two days.

Office Duties- Write clear and descriptive estimates. Prefered turn around time between site visit and completion of estimate should be under 24 hours.

Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers – You’ll communicate with our Service Professionals and customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.

Create Life-Long Customers – Deliver a great experience that wows every customer. You will follow the Mr. Handyman Way - a repeatable process that makes it easy to impress the customer every time.

You'll need a strong knowledge of both residential and commercial products and repair processes.

Job Requirements
These are the minimum requirements to be considered for this position.

Have 8+ years of paid industry experience

Strong communication skills
As an experienced Estimator/ Sales Person, you have strong proficiency in the following:

Carpentry, Painting, Drywall experience

General plumbing and electrical knowledge

General carpentry knowledge
-
Ability to formulate and follow a plan in an efficient manner

Construction estimating skills
-
Desire to train and build with a team of strong Service Professionals

The pay range for this position will be a combination of a base with a commision based on sales and is dependent on your experience
