Key Responsibilities:
- Support the technical sales process by working closely with the sales team.
- Prepare estimates and quotations for door hardware in accordance with architectural floor plans and Civil Defence requirements for fire-rated doors.
- Prepare door hardware schedules and technical specifications for consultants.
- Develop and maintain master key schedules.
- Prepare project documentation, including bills of quantities, material submittals, prequalification documents, operation and maintenance manuals, and other required close-out documents for clients.
- Provide customer support by assisting in cost optimisation and value engineering, ensuring value for money while meeting required standards and quality.
- Perform risk assessment, value management, and cost control activities.
- Develop product specifications and enhance Laidlaw Gulf brand awareness across the region.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and support the development of new customers.
- Collaborate with Laidlaw Gulf staff as a unified team to grow the business and achieve competitive advantage through best-in-class service and full implementation of the group service philosophy.
- Prepare technical and material submittals for quoted projects.
- Prepare technical data sheets for new products.
- Liaise with Sales Managers to attend meetings and provide technical coordination with architects and project coordinators.
- Prepare and update weekly quotation and enquiry reports.
- Assist the General Manager in ensuring the smooth running of operations.

- Proficiency in Excel and estimating tools
