Estimator: Structural and Mechanical

Cogbill Construction, in Vidor TX, is looking for a junior or senior estimator to work on various types of projects, including:

• Structural metal fabrication
• Sheet metal fabrication
• Piping supports and accessories
• Pipe fabrication
• Industrial construction projects
• Industrial maintenance and plant shutdowns

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years experience in metal fabrication and field estimation work
• Understanding of engineering and shop drawings
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes: Cutting, bending, rolling, welding, etc.
• Knowledge in general industrial construction and plant shutdown work
• Abel to conducts site walks with clients to evaluate scope and requirements of potential projects
• Strong knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel, PDF file manipulation, etc.
• Strong communication skills, oral and written

Requirements:

• Must reside in southeast Texas
• Must pass drug and background screening
• Must have dependable means of transportation
• Must have high school diploma or higher

Preferences:

• Associate degree or higher
• Some AutoCAD knowledge
