Estimator Trainee

**No experience required! We are looking for a motivated individual that is willing to learn and interested in starting a career!**

Airport Paint and Body is looking for a body shop estimator trainee at our Erlanger, KY location. We are a family owned business that has been in the automotive industry for over 3 generations.

We are looking to train an employee in multiple areas of the business to ensure success as an estimator. The right employee will be able to learn multiple areas of work. They will learn about our parts department and building relationships with vendors. They will learning the operating system and mastering the parts process. They will learn customer service, interacting with customers, answering phones, and assisting at the front counter. Finally, they will be trained in the estimating process from the ground up and eventually manage their own team. Airport Paint and Body is a growing business with plenty of room for advancement.

Job Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

-Learn parts department (checking in parts, returns, inventory)

- Create estimates for incoming vehicles and order necessary parts from local vendors

- Ensure all manufacturer, collision repair, and legal policies are followed

- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service

- Work directly with technicians to oversee repair process from start to finish

- Work directly with insurance companies and manage the claims process for our customers

- Follow company policies and procedures

Job Requirements:

- Excellent driving history and valid driver's license

- Must be willing to submit to a background check and/or drug screening

- Ability to communicate in a professional manner at all times

- Must have reliable transportation

Benefits:

- Vacation pay after 1 year

- Holiday pay after 90 days and benefits offered after 1 full month

*Position is Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm with the occasional Saturday shift 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
