Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer with strong IBM Datastage and SQL expertise to join our dynamic team . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting ETL processes and data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow across multiple systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL jobs using IBM Datastage.

• Work closely with business analysts, architects, and data modelers to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable ETL solutions.

• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-optimized scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Conduct data quality checks, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Datastage jobs and SQL queries.

• Support data migration, batch processing, and real-time integration projects.

• Document technical specifications, mappings, workflows, and operational processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data delivery in compliance with enterprise standards.

• Provide production support, including monitoring, debugging, and resolving ETL/data-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in ETL development using IBM Datastage.

• Strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or similar).

• Experience with ETL performance tuning, optimization, and error handling.

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling basics.

• Strong understanding of job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys, or equivalent).

• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation and integration.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex data issues.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience in cloud-based ETL solutions (AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, GCP Dataflow).

• Familiarity with Big Data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) is an added advantage.

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
