ETP Engineer

Key Responsibilities1. Plant Operations

• Operate and monitor ETP systems (biological, chemical, and physical treatment processes)
• Ensure smooth functioning of pumps, aerators, clarifiers, and filters
• Maintain optimum process parameters (pH, COD, BOD, TSS, etc.)

2. Monitoring & Compliance

• Ensure treated water meets environmental standards (e.g., NEQS in Pakistan)
• Conduct regular sampling and laboratory testing
• Maintain compliance with environmental laws and audits

3. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance of ETP equipment
• Identify process issues and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain logs of plant operations and chemical usage
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Record regulatory compliance data

5. Chemical Handling

• Manage dosing of chemicals (coagulants, flocculants, neutralizers)
• Ensure safe handling and storage of hazardous chemicals

6. Continuous Improvement

• Optimize treatment efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Suggest process improvements and upgrades
• Implement water recycling and reuse strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Civil Engineering
• Relevant certifications in wastewater treatment (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs55,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Faisalabad: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
