EV Charging and E-Mobility Engineer

Job Purpose

EV Charging and Mobility Engineer Portfolio support the end-to-end deployment, operation, and performance management of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across multiple projects, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Deployment (Installation and Commissioning)
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and authorities.
  • Conduct site feasibility studies, load analysis, and utility coordination
  • Support the planning of installation of EV charging infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with site team, consultants and contractors.
  • Oversee authority approvals, NOCs, and submissions through consultant.
  • Review technical documents, drawings, and test reports.
  • Regulatory, HSE & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with site, UAE regulations and international standards.
  • Support final inspections, snag reporting and handovers
  • Technical & Systems Management
  • Ensure CPMS system integration with EV chargers.
  • Support monitoring EV Charging Management Systems (CPMS).
  • Handle reporting, dashboards, and issue resolution.
  • Track energy usage, utilization, carbon reduction metrics and report preparation.
  • Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
  • Monitor charger uptime, availability, and SLA compliance through CPMS.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with the contractor/OEM.
  • Manage AMCs schedule and contractor/OEM performance.
  • Technical and Commercial
  • Identify and pursue new e-mobility opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Deliver technical presentations, demos, and proposals to key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain opportunity pipeline through networking and engagement.
  • Define competitive positioning and monitor market intelligence and trends.
  • Support client onboarding, technical advisory, budgeting, and cost tracking.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor EV market trends and new technologies.
  • Support innovation and digitalization initiatives.




Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or Sustainability.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in EV charging business in UAE.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC EV chargers and OCPP platforms.
  • Strong coordination, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Other Requirements:
  • Valid UAE driving license; access to a personal vehicle is an advantage.
