Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an EV Maintenance Supervisor based in Muscat. The EV Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance operations, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure optimal equipment functionality. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance teams, diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, managing repair schedules, and ensuring safety standards are maintained. The role requires collaboration with team members to meet service quality expectations.
Qualifications

Strong Supervisory Skills, including leadership, team coordination, and effective communication

Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance practices

Expertise in Maintenance & Repair for both conventional and electric vehicles

Proven ability in Troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently

In-depth knowledge of EV systems and charging infrastructure is an advantage

Ability to diagnose and repair battery packs, Battery Management Systems (BMS), inverters, and charging systems

Familiarity with CAN bus networks, diagnostic software, and over-the-air updates

Ability to inspect and repair complex cases for the EV vehicles and hybrid vehicles

specialize in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing high-voltage systems, electric motors, and battery management systems (BMS) in electric (EV) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs)

Performing high-voltage system de-energization, insulation testing, and ensuring safety compliance

Using diagnostic tools to interpret fault codes in lithium-ion batteries, motors, and inverters

Repairing or replacing specialized EV/HV components, such as DC-DC converters and onboard chargers

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Certifications and Experience:

Minimum of a Diploma or Associate Degree in Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics

Level 3 or Level 4 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Diagnosis, Repair, and Replacement, or equivalent

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
