Specialty Portable X-Ray, Inc. is a rapidly-growing portable X-Ray & Ultrasound company that provides service to the five boroughs of New York City, all of Long Island and New Jersey.
Position:
A professional full-time administrative assistant / technologist dispatcher to work evening shifts.
Candidate:
This employee has highly-developed organizational and interpersonal communication skills with office and administrative experience and will work closely with our staff, office manager and owner. They should have and maintain a positive can-do attitude with adaptive problem-solving skills and an openness to learn new things.
Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday Friday 3pm-11pm
Saturday and Sunday 8am-2pm
Employee Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls addressing the questions/concerns of various doctors, patients and healthcare providers with accuracy and promptness
Assist in the scheduling/confirming and routing of patient appointments with our team of technologists in the field
Facilitate and maintain/update accurate client/patient demographics along with insurance/billing details with an eye for accuracy
Remain in constant contact with management and appropriate departments with all pertinent information
Provide hands-on assistance to technologists in the field at their various locations throughout the day
Quality Assurance
Qualifications:
Computer/internet literacy with a willingness to learn new software
Professional and personable
Office experience with a background in the healthcare field is plus
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
(Multilingual is a plus)
Organizational understanding of business with the ability to lead others
Good work ethic with an ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner utilizing a personal "checks and balance" system to ensure all daily job requirements are met
A personal vehicle due to distance from mass transit
This position is open to New York State residents only, preferably Long Island/Queens
