Evening Cashier/expo
Primo Latin Cuisine, sister of Prime Barbecue, is looking for Focused, Driven, and Team orientated individuals that have a passion for serving others to join our team.
The Cashier/Service Attendant will play a vital role in the overall experience of our guests. This is done through displaying “Integrity” during the customers ordering process by ensuring the order is verified with the customer before processing their payment. You will also try to upsell any drinks or desserts if not ordered.
Schedule: Afternoon/Evening shift. Working 40-50hrs/week. Schedule will be Tuesday - Saturday with 2 days off each week. We will also close 1 time per year for vacation (during Christmas).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure all areas are prepped accordingly for the start of service.
- Stock cups, To-go packaging, to-go sauces, etc..
- Ensure the customer dinning area is clean and presentable with fresh trash bags in all trash cans.
- Ensure tables are set with Water and appropriate dining items such as forks, spoons, and knives.
- Stock drink cooler by utilizing the FiFo method.
- Account for all cash in the register at the beginning and end of shift.
Cashier Qualifications/Skills:
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak English fluently (bilingual in Spanish a Plus)
- Accuracy and speed in taking and processing customers’ orders.
- Ability to count, add, and subtract to ensure proper change is given back to the customer.
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow directions and instructions according to the standards that have been set.
