Job Title: Evening Custodian

Salary Structure: $16.08+/hr

Position Contract: Support Staff, Non-Exempt, 12-months,

Schedule: 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. M-F

General Description:

Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications for Custodian who will perform routine cleaning in offices, classrooms, and public access areas.

General Qualification Requirements:

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Facilities maintenance experience a plus

Representative Duties:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to interpret, follow instructions and warnings, especially in the use of equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Abillity to work independently with minimal and/or intermittent supervision.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance.

Special Requirements:

• Possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license, and have an acceptable driving record.

Work Environment:

• Indoor setting with minimal duties outdoors.
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
• Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

Minimal Physical Requirements:

• Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.
• Position requires the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Work requires frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, carrying and occasional climbing and reaching above shoulders
