Evening delivery driver

Job Overview
Seeking 1099 contract delivery drivers for evening routes starting at 1800 (6pm). These are small routes consisting of 40-50 packages perfect for someone looking for part time work to offset their primary job . Drivers will utilize their own vehicle OR may use our Ford Transit Connect when it's available. Packages range from 1-50lbs. We operate seven days a week.

Your expertise in driving, customer interaction, and handling various types of cargo will help us maintain our reputation for reliability and excellence. Responsibilities

• Report to loadout on time - this is a requirement; the client is extremely strict with starting on time.
• Safely operate either your own personal vehicles or our small Ford Transit Connect, to complete scheduled deliveries during evening hours
• Load and unload ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Navigate route driving efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations using our tech and driver app
• Provide excellent customer service by contacting customers professionally as needed to ensure proper delivery
• Verify delivery orders and document all delivery activities accurately
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after shifts

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Ability to lift packages up to 50lbs safely and perform physical tasks involving walking
• Prior experience in route driving or delivery operations is highly desirable
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safety procedures related to driving in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex

Pay: $80.00 - $95.00 per day
