Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, sinks, and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and organized workspace.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic ingredient handling and setup when needed.
• Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
• Follow food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate dishwashing schedules during busy service hours.
• Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness by participating in cleaning duties beyond dishwashing, including trash removal and surface sanitation.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or hotel environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Knowledge of basic food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
