Evening Janitor (Part-time)

We are looking for an A+ Janitor to add as part of our team in carrying out cleaning, maintenance and security duties 3 days per week. Let our team support you in your part time endeavor and reaching your goals. Pay is WEEKLY!

This job has 2 locations: Must have a valid Driver's License & Personal Transportation.

Location 1: North Suffolk - Zip Code 23453. This building is completed on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 4:30 - 8:30

Location 2: Downtown Portsmouth - Zip Code 23704. This building is completed on Saturday mornings from 8/9 - 10/11AM.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

• Must be a strong cleaner with experience doing janitorial/custodial work for office buildings.
• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
• Perform and document routine maintenance activities
• Carry out cleaning tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs on any equipment
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Reliability and dependability is a must.
• Reliable Non-Public Transportation and a valid driver's license is also required.

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Janitor or Custodian in a commercial setting
• Ability to learn to use a walk behind or ride on scrubber
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently

Schedule:

• Tuesday & Friday - 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM
• Saturdays - 8/9:00 AM - 10/11:00 AM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
