Evening Outpatient Therapist LCSW, LCMHC

Position Overview

We are seeking a fully-licensed, compassionate Outpatient Therapist to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, families, and couples between the hours of 4pm/5pm and 8pm. This role is ideal for a clinician who is seeking a part-time position and values evidence-based practice, collaboration, and meaningful client outcomes. You will work with a diverse outpatient population, delivering structured, ethical, and client-centered care in a supportive team environment.

*This is a part-time position structured as a percentage-based role, requiring a minimum of 12 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and/or couples therapy, including support for PTSD, behavioral health needs, and crisis intervention
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Use EMR systems effectively for clinical record-keeping
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical and administrative teams to support continuity of care
• Demonstrate cultural competence when working with diverse populations
• Stay current on clinical research, best practices, and professional standards

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Active licensure in North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC)
• Experience with crisis management and intervention
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High ethical standards and commitment to client confidentiality
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
