Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor residents’ vital signs and overall health status, reporting any concerns promptly
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Support residents with dementia or memory care needs through engaging activities and behavior management techniques
- Operate EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems to document care activities and resident progress
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary guidelines and residents’ preferences
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards
- Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring safety and comfort during transportation
- Collaborate with team members, social workers, nurses, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care plans
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments preferred
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia management, and memory care techniques
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional certifications such as medication administration or Hoyer lift training are a plus
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is highly valued
- Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and long-term care procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate support to residents and their families
- Ability to work evening shifts reliably while maintaining a positive attitude
- Valid driver’s license for transportation duties preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $23.50 per hour
