Evening Shift Weekday Cashier - 1pm-9pm

Join our dynamic team as an Evening Shift Weekday Cashier, working from 1pm to 9pm! As a cashier, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, handles transactions efficiently, and ensures a smooth shopping experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in retail math, POS systems, and retail services.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases or inquiries in a lively, engaging manner
• Operate POS systems accurately to process sales, voids, etc
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station/register and entry areas
• Stock displays, shelves, and coolers in the front end area
• Search POS system inventory to check product stock for customers
• Call for the retrieval of cases of wine, liquor, etc via walkie talkies
• Politely and cordially answer phone calls
• MUST be available for evening shift, 1pm to 9pm during weekdays; Monday-Thursday

Skills

• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and calculations
• Experience in multitasking and time management skills
• Must be 18 or older and eligible to hold a Forsyth County Alcohol Serving Permit

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
