Role Overview
The Event Account Director is a senior-level position responsible for managing and growing key client relationships, driving business development, and overseeing the successful planning and execution of large-scale events. This role requires strategic leadership, strong client service skills, and extensive industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Strategic Planning: Take client briefs, develop creative and strategic event solutions, and ensure alignment with client brand identity and objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and actively pursue new business to meet revenue targets.
  • Project Oversight: Lead the full event lifecycle from concept development and proposal writing to on-site delivery and post-event reporting.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor internal teams including event managers, production, creative, and logistics staff to ensure successful project execution.
  • Budget Management: Oversee event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control without compromising quality.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Manage relationships with sponsors, international stakeholders, and external suppliers, including venue negotiation and contracting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of senior account management experience within the events or marketing industry, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate client feedback into clear, actionable guidance.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and maintain client trust.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
