Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of various events, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and event management, with skills in digital marketing, direct marketing, social media, and content creation. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events from conception to execution.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement multichannel marketing strategies.
  • Utilize SEO techniques to enhance event visibility online.
  • Manage social media marketing efforts, including content creation and engagement strategies.
  • Support advertising sales initiatives through effective communication and outreach.
  • Create compelling content for various platforms, including websites (WordPress), emails, and print advertising.
  • Conduct research to identify trends and opportunities within the events sector.
  • Analyze event performance using tools like Google Analytics to measure success and gather insights for future improvements.
  • Assist with budgeting for events, ensuring all expenses are tracked accurately.
  • Work closely with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure seamless event execution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience or coursework in marketing, event management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts including performance marketing, e-commerce, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for design tasks; familiarity with HTML is a plus.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with an ability to create engaging content tailored for diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of Facebook Advertising strategies is preferred.
  • Strong research skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
