Event Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Event Bartender to elevate our guests’ experience at a dynamic event setting. In this role, you will serve beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure a lively, welcoming atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your bartending skills while engaging with diverse guests in a fast-paced environment. Must be 21+ and have a alcohol license. This position is part time, offering 2 shifts a week with hourly + tips at Philbrook Museum.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to create a positive experience from greeting to farewell.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions with precision, ensuring proper billing and change procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
• Restock bar supplies promptly during events, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.

Skills

• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders smoothly during high-volume events.
• Skilled in serving alcohol responsibly while maintaining compliance with food safety standards and alcohol regulations.
• Exceptional customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate measurement of ingredients.
