About Us

The Sip Society DC is a mobile bartending and beverage experience company serving private events, corporate gatherings, and social celebrations across the DMV area. We specialize in elevated cocktail and mocktail service with a focus on presentation, professionalism, and guest experience.

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, professional, and personable bartenders and event staff to support private events, including birthdays, corporate functions, church events, and upscale social gatherings.

This role is ideal for individuals with hospitality or bartending experience who enjoy working in dynamic, guest-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails and/or mocktails based on a preset menu
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar setup
• Assist with event setup and breakdown
• Provide excellent customer service and engage professionally with guests
• Monitor inventory and communicate when supplies are running low
• Follow all company service standards and event guidelines
• Support team members to ensure smooth event execution

Requirements

• Must be 21+ (for alcohol service roles)
• Prior bartending, hospitality, or event experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable transportation to event locations across DMV area
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs
• Professional appearance and adherence to dress code
• Weekend and evening availability required
• Ability to follow structured drink menus and service standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working private or catered events
• Knowledge of basic cocktail preparation and bar setup
• Alcohol certification (if applicable for alcohol events)
• Experience with high-volume service

Compensation

• Competitive hourly/event-based pay (based on experience)
