Event Center Staff

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Center Staff to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a vital part of our Event Center, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Whether you are serving tables, assisting at the bar, or managing the cash register, your commitment to customer service and teamwork will help us maintain our reputation for excellence.

Duties

  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and ensuring their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
  • Operate cash registers and POS systems, accurately processing payments and handling cash with care.
  • Assist with food and beverage service, including brewing coffee and serving drinks during fine dining or banquet events.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and Catering Company staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring tables are set properly and the environment is welcoming for guests.
  • Help train new staff members on Event Center procedures, customer service standards, and equipment usage.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures; experience with cash registers or POS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Knowledge of fine dining etiquette is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards helping others.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.05 - $16.00 per hour
