Event Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand event objectives, themes, and requirements.
• Develop comprehensive event plans including timelines, budgets, vendor contracts, and logistics.
• Negotiate with vendors such as caterers, decorators, entertainment providers, and venue staff to secure the best services within budget.
• Coordinate all aspects of event setup and breakdown, including catering arrangements, equipment rentals, and décor placement.
• Oversee event marketing efforts through social media promotion, email campaigns, and outreach strategies to maximize attendance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning or management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Demonstrated ability in budgeting & cost control.
• Familiarity with event marketing strategies and guest services management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with proficiency in time management tools and software applications related to event coordination.
