FIIT CLT is a growing fitness and performance facility focused on building a strong community through fitness, sports performance, wellness programs, and special events. We are seeking an organized, energetic, and motivated Event Coordinator Intern to help plan, organize, and execute events that engage our members and community.

Position Overview

The Event Coordinator Intern will assist with the planning and execution of gym events, tournaments, fitness challenges, community activations, and promotional experiences. This role is ideal for someone interested in sports management, event planning, marketing, hospitality, or fitness operations who wants hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and coordinating FIIT CLT events and programs
• Help organize tournaments, fitness competitions, member events, and community outreach activities
• Support event setup, breakdown, and on-site operations
• Coordinate schedules, vendor communication, and event logistics
• Assist with marketing and promotion of events through social media and flyers
• Help manage attendee check-in and customer experience during events
• Maintain organization of event materials and supplies
• Collaborate with the FIIT CLT team to ensure successful event execution

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or current undergraduate student preferred
• Must be available to work from June through late August. Please include your back-to-school date in your application
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work effectively with others
• Must have reliable transportation
• Interest in fitness, sports, wellness, event planning, or community engagement preferred
• Experience with Canva, social media, or event coordination is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
