Event Delivery Driver/Event Delivery Assistant

Harvest Moon Catering is looking for qualified Event Delivery Drivers and Event Delivery Assistants to help with our busy upcoming fall.

Position Responsibilities:
This position will have overall responsibility for the successful operation of the rental warehouse as well as timely delivery and set up of event rental items at the event sites. This position requires a highly organized individual with strong logistics capabilities as well as someone who possesses excellent leadership skills.

The warehouse manager will ensure that all orders placed for client delivery are delivered and set up on time and accurately. This position will also select, organize and fill the orders for the client which will require finding the correct product from the warehouse and preparing for delivery.

This key player will assist management in keeping the warehouse product organized. This position will also make sure that delivery trucks are in good working order and cleaned as well as work in the warehouse helping with general duties such as cleaning product and/or warehouse.

Major Duties

• Process rental orders
• Preparation of inventory to satisfy scheduled deliveries and pickups for daily orders.
• Loadout & load in events based on event sheets.
• Producing and/or viewing delivery, pickup, sub-rental and overbooking regular reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Implementing and completing warehouse opening, operation, and closing procedures on a daily basis.
• Timely arrival, accounting, and preparation of new rental inventory.
• Supervise timely return, processing, cleaning and re-stocking rentals into inventory.
• Maintain all warehouse equipment in safe and working condition.
• Maintain all warehouse areas including office, restrooms and storage areas in a safe, clean and working condition.
• Maintain all company vehicles in safe and working condition.
• Maintain all inspection and license requirements for all company vehicles.

Required Qualifications and Education:

• Part-time with weekend availability
• At least 21 years old
• Clean & Valid Driver's license
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Catering experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50-80 lbs.
• Ability to communicate routinely via phone, personal contact and via email
• Walking, standing, sitting required throughout the typical business day
• The ability to work in the heat, non-air-conditioned environments
• The ability to regularly & repetitively bend, carry, climb, grasp, kneel, lift, pull, push, reach, sit, stand, twist, walk
