Event Delivery Team Member - WEEKEND'S ONLY

We are looking for delivery driver(s) that are just as passionate about customer service we are! Since we service the event industry, the hours are mostly evenings and weekends. Must be willing to work with other members of our team as well as function independently. Driver will represent the company in a highly professional, safe and cost-effective manner that complies with DOT and other applicable regulations. CDL drivers paid a premium.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare truck for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of trucks, securing of items and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers. Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies to company. Maintain and monitor truck maintenance and driving record requirements, and maintain required documents for safety, security and quality processes. Maintain a safe driving record free of violations. Follow company policies and procedures (including safety initiatives and guidelines)

Qualifications:

Strong customer service and/or problem solving skills. Clean MVA record. Available to work late evenings and weekends. DOT medical card or the ability to pass a DOT physical.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 75lbs. Requires long periods of sitting. Frequently ascends/descends from truck.

Communication:

Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received.

Equipment Used:

Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind.

Work Environment:

Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperature.

Driving a 16ft Box Truck or larger

Required license or certification:

Driver's License / CDL paid a premium
