1. EVENT EXPERIENCE CARPENTER

JOB DESCRIPITION

Overview

Responsible for building, installing, and dismantling event structures such as exhibition stands, stages, kiosks, backdrops, and custom installations, ensuring high‑quality craftsmanship and safe, timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

Build and assemble event structures (stages, walls, counters, display units, props).

Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.

Cut, shape, and assemble wood, MDF, plywood, acrylic, and related materials.

Install hardware, supports, and structural reinforcements.

Set up and install stands and event environments on‑site.

Make adjustments and repairs during setup and event operations.

Inspect structures for defects and ensure safety compliance.

Dismantle structures, pack materials, and assist with logistics.

Maintain tools and report damages or shortages.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of carpentry experience (events/exhibitions/fit‑out preferred).

Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, machines, and materials.

Ability to read technical drawings.

Good physical stamina and ability to work long hours.

Strong problem‑solving skills; able to work under pressure.

UAE experience required.

Experience in stand building, stage construction, or AV support is an advantage.

Arabic speakers preferred.

Salary

AED 3,000 – 5,000
