Ashbourne Farms is looking for Event Hosts to join our team. This is a great opportunity for part-time work for someone looking to provide high quality service to our guests in or around the Oldham County area. Ashbourne Farms is located just outside of Louisville, KY in scenic LaGrange, KY and hosts high-end luxury events such as weddings, corporate outings, concerts and shows, and private events throughout the year.

What you can expect:

• Schedule is based on events throughout the year including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Shifts typically range from 6-8 hours
• Pay starting at $16.00 per hour

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary is required
• Customer service and exceptional hospitality skills required
• Previous Hosting experience a plus but not required
• Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness, hospitality, and brand image
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve when needed
  
  
  

Specific Duties and Expectations:

• Welcome Guests: Warmly greet guests, offering event and venue information as needed.
• Receive and Organize Coats and Belongings: Collect and organize coats and belongings, ensuring proper labeling.
• Restroom Maintenance: Regularly monitor, restock, clean, and remove trash from restrooms.
• Professionalism: Interact courteously and respectfully with guests, embodying warmth and hospitality.
• Personal Presentation: Maintain a polished appearance, adhering to uniform standards and grooming.
  
  
  

Additional Information, Physical / Other Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6–10 hours per shift)
• Ability to frequently carry, push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 15 pounds
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and twist throughout the shift
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests and coworkers in a noisy environment
• May include outdoor service with exposure to varying weather conditions
