About Us

At The Espresso Experience, we bring specialty coffee experiences to events—from weddings and corporate activations to festivals and private parties. We’re looking for an experienced Event Lead Barista to run on-site coffee service and represent our brand with professionalism and energy.

Role Overview

The Event Lead Barista is responsible for leading coffee service at events, managing setup and breakdown, coordinating with clients on-site, and ensuring every guest receives high-quality drinks and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute coffee service at events (weddings, corporate events, festivals, etc.)
• Set up and break down mobile coffee equipment and stations
• Dial in espresso and maintain drink consistency throughout service
• Supervise and support event barista staff (if applicable)
• Engage with guests and deliver excellent customer service
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and event coordinators on-site
• Manage inventory and supplies for each event
• Ensure cleanliness, food safety, and equipment care
• Troubleshoot issues quickly in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• 2+ years barista experience (specialty coffee preferred)
• Previous event, catering, or mobile coffee experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Confident working independently and leading small teams
• Comfortable transporting, setting up, and operating equipment
• Flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, early mornings)
• Valid driver’s license (if travel/equipment transport is required)

Nice to Have

• Latte art skills
• Experience with high-volume service
• Basic technical knowledge of espresso machines and grinders
