Event Manager & Social Media Team Lead

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Event Manager & Social Media Team Lead (2026 Summer intern or Full-Time Year-Round option available) to orchestrate exceptional events and lead our social media initiatives. We have continued to grow since opening in November of 2021, and this role will continue maximize winter revenue while growing summer events and memberships at XGA. Disclaimer - Being a great teammate is crucial at X Golf Appleton. Everyone on our team pitches in to share all responsibilites needed to run a premier indoor golf facility. (Retail golf products along with food and beverage, cleanliness, etc...)

Duties

• Lead the planning and execution of a wide range of events including corporate gatherings, community outreach, fundraising functions, and hospitality experiences such as banquets and catering services.
• Manage the social media direction by creating content calendars, guiding content creation, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across platforms.
• Drive social media campaigns that promote upcoming events, highlight guest services, and showcase hospitality excellence.
• Ensure exceptional customer service during events by coordinating guest services, managing catering arrangements, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
• As referenced, be a part of the team at every area with helping members with Simulators and their needs while in our facility. The role itself has a specialty based in marketing and events with an overall need to work as a team in all areas of the business directly with our members.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills combined with outstanding organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes, vendor relations, catering coordination, and guest services operations.
• Willingness to learn and be a part of all duties assigned.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
